We do not still use chisel and hammer to create
text. We understand "change" in communication methods. Then why
do our
Bible Classrooms still mimic the 1940s?
“The
vision that you glorify in your mind, the ideal that you enthrone in your
heart—this you will build your life by, and this you will become.” ~James
Allen
21st
Century students are growing up in a different world with different
boundaries, global boundaries. If we continue to ignore their world, they
will ignore us!
REFLECTION: The ultimate goal of education is
to witness a change in behavior. What goals do you have for your students?
Who are these Students?
What do they NEED to Be Engaged in
Learning?
What Critical Issues will they Face in
the Future?
What Vision do they have of the
Future?
What
is education? What is it you want your students to be able to do?
What
characteristics do you want to become part of their being?
Reflection Question: What way would Jesus teach if He walked among us
today?
