All about Teaching and Learning from the MASTER

Activity 1 (5 Minutes)

 In a small group of no more than 4, develop a definition for the word "education". Select a spokes person to share with the class.

Activity 2 (5 Minutes)

1. Get Out your Cell Phones!

2. Form groups of 2 or 3 to discuss methods used by Christ to illustrate Biblical principles.

3. After 4 minutes of reflection and discussion, text one message per group with your answers to what is provided for you on the screen.

4. If you see a method that you have on your list, do not repeat it in your text message.

5. Take 1 minute to discuss different methods that you think Christ might have used in the 21st Century. (i.e. Would Christ take us to a lake and ask us to cast nets? No? Then what?)

6. Text those answers. Do not repeat someone else's suggestions.
